Quantitatively Show that the maximum percentage of water vap

(Quantitatively) Show that the maximum percentage of water vapor in the air is approximately 4%

Solution

The higher the temperature the higher the percentage of vapours in air however it is limited to 4% as after some temperature the vapours start condensing back. and hence the % of vapours never reaches more than 4%.

If we imagine the temperature of atmosphere as high as 52 C then the pressure

Kg / m^3 = 0.002166 X p / ( T + 273.16 )

so if we will put values of maximum temperature and put the values of pressure at that temperature, then it will come out to be 4% only
