tissue that functioning in communication are a nerve tissue

tissue that functioning in communication are a. nerve tissue b. muscular tissue c. connective

Solution

Nervous tissues/ Nerve tissue are the only tissues functions in communication in body. It has two main parts CNS (Central nervous system) and PNS (peripheral nervous system). CNS includes brain and spinal cord whereas PNS includes branching peripheral nerves which control body function and other activities. Nervous tissue is composed are major cells, neurons (receives and transmits impulses) and neuroglia (supports in nerve impulse propagation and provide nutrients to neurons).

Nervous tissues form a network for communication and works by passing electric signals across tissues. Neuron senses various stimuli such as heat, light, pressure etc. and passes the information in the form of nerve impulses throughout the body. Every neuron has cell body (nucleated) and dendrites extended away from cell body to receive the signals

The major neurons are:

·         Motor neurons

·         Relay neurons

·         Sensory neurons
