B) Define the 4 features of Enzymes and then explain why enzymes are such large molecules.

1)Enzymes are mainly protein in nature

2)Enzymes are substrate specific

3)Enzymes could not intiate a reactio it just changes the rate of reaction.

4)Every enzymes has its own optimum pH and temparature.

Enzymes are large molecule because substrate binds to the enzyme so it must be larger then the substrate molecule to accomodate it,hence enzymes are large molecules.
