Would the x ray of an average boy at 6 years chronological age be likely to show more or less skeletal development? Why?
Solution
A child bone show growth plate at both ends. As they are soft and contain less mineral easily spotted on x ray.
as the child is growing the growth plate changes and the image become thinner and disappering . so any problem in childs skeletal muscle development is diagnosed by the comparison of child bone age and chronological age difference.
