Solution

18.5-X>=0 implies X<=18.5.

-1<6+7X<34 can be spilited in to -1<6+7X and 6+7X<34.

Now, -1<6+7X implies -1-6<7X. That is -7<7X.

Dividing by 7 , we get -1<X and hence X>-1.

Similarly, 6+7X<34 implies 7X<34-6. That is 7X<28.

Dividing by 7, we get X<4.
