Alan Chalmers has implied that the changes in science render a universal scientific method impossible to define because of presence of some limitations in examining the scientific theories and the problems with falsification. Therefore, scientific observations, experimental results are associated with various assumptions & sometimes they may falsifiable. These are metaphysical (untestable) and difficult to define and the ideas of metaphysics (these are in programmatic in nature) are difficult to eliminate from science. For instance, in order to prove open- ended conceptions of science, it crucial to have sufficient methodologies to adapt & refine “scientific standards” to explain that concept in an accurate and reliability.   

Popper’s falsification theory failed to describe universal method of science because he formally and semi-formally tested the consistency of scientific theoretical systems for contradictions finally compared the truth content in the false statements as a theory of verisimilitude. Popper falsification theory is mainly claimed that “every universal scientific hypothesis possess zero probability of being true”. However, he failed to explain the meticulous rationality over an already falsified theory in view of the fact that both theories possess the same probability (zero) of being true
