Taking two points on the line (x1,y1), (x2,y2) i.e. (1.04,0.2) and (101,0.1) the slope of the line is

(y2-y1)/(x2-x1) = (0.1-0.2) / (1.01 - 1.04) = -0.1/ - 0.03 = 1/30

The Equation of line is y = mx+b

y= (1/30)x + b

substituting one of the above points

0.2 = (1/30)*1.04 + b

b = 0.2 - 1.04/30 = 0.2 - 0.035 = 0.165

Equation of line is y = (1/30)x + 0.165

Molecular weight of Sucrose is 342

Moles of Sucrose solution = (Weight of Sucrose in gms / Solvent in litres) / Molecular weight

Substituting 14.23 for Y in line equation

14.23 = (1/30)x + 0.165
