Shown below Is a dilution protocol (NOT a serial dilution, but similar) of a 5M stock solution of NaCl. The lines above Indicate how much volume you are transferring to the volume of water indicated in the tube. For each tube state the dilution factor and concentration of NaCl.

CV NaCl concentration in tube A calculated by using formula m₁ v₁ = m₂v₂

for tube A : 5M * 5 ml= M₂* 10 ml

   2.5 M concentration of NaCl

for tube B : 2.5M*2.5 ml = M₂  * 10 ml

   0.625M concentration of NaCl

fortube c : 0.625M* 3 ml = M_2* 6 ml

   0.3125M concentration of NaCl
