There are two different ways to collect data from two populations. One is with paired samples and the other is with independent samples. How are they different? Explain and give an example of each

THe data are called as paired samples when they are associated in some way or other. Like data has been collected on the BP level of 10 patients before and after medication. Here paired samples test should be used.

If the data are colected from two independent population then one should use independent samples test.
