1. Every software that is built has a purpose and the blueprint is prepared by keeping in mind the tasks that it is expected to perform on completion.The software validation helps in ensuring that the product being developed is in line with the expectation of the stake holders .Some of the conditions which must be checked in validation phase of software requirement are as follows:

a. Allignment of the SRS with the needs and requirements of the stake holders.

b.Consistency in the different requirement representations.

c.Were the requirements derived from proper channels, i.e were the requirements derived from authentic sources with correct business requirements.

2.A. The concept of six sigma is to improve the process output by identifying and removing the assocaited defects to bring highest level of uniformity in manufacturing and opeartions.The idea is to continuosly improve the process .

The two process are different in the type of process they are applied to .In general DMAIC is the more well-known and most-used Lean Six Sigma project methodology and is focused on improving an existing process, rather than creating a new product or process.On the other hand ,the application of DMADV methods is aimed at creating a high-quality product keeping in mind customer requirements .

Overproduction--Overproduction in a manufacturing process may lead to production of goods far beyond their demand,resullting in stagnation of capital.This may be because of reasons such as reduced demand,poor forecast,etc.

Waiting--This happens whenever the work has to stop because of reasons such as insufficent resources,unplanned downtime ,etc

Non-utilized/underutilized talent,---Not or under-utilizing peoples’ talents, skills and knowledge can have a detrimental effect on an organization.

Transportation--Waste caused by moving things around.Transporattaion waste may be casued because of poor office layout,poor designed systems,etc.

Inventory---Having a high inventory can be problematic .This may be caused because of poor forecast , unreliable supplier ,etc .Just in time concept is focussed on reducing the problem of excess inventory.

Motion---Any excess movement, whether by employees or machines, that doesn’t add value to the product, service or process.

Excess Processing-- This is any unnecessary effort expended in order to complete a task: double-handling, permission seeking, unnecessary steps, re-entering data, making too many copies or reports, and the like. Excess Processing can arise because of reasons like lack of standards ,lack of reports ,etc.
