A right triange with secant equal to 2 will have a tangent of ______________?
Professor says answer is sqrt 3 but I have no idea how he got that, please explain in detail.
Thanks
Figured it out but answer for a thumbs up if you\'d like
Solution
Secant=2
=> coscent=1/2
Therefore, by hypororas theorem,
base=1, hypotenius=2, perpendicular=3
Therefore, tangent= perpendicular/base =3/1 = 3
