A robot is a mechanical or virtual artificial agent. It is an electro mechanical machine, guided by computer program.

The computer program gives the robot an artificial intelligence. Although they are not conscious, they have a state of mind thanks to the artificial intelligence.

Due to this artificial intelligence, robots are being used in industry, in restaurants, and are programmed to do specific jobs. But this is purely artificial intelligence.

A robot cannot be given a soul. It cannot have feelings and emotions.
