The forebain is separated into the diencephalon at the five-vessicle stage (Thalamus, Hypothalamus, Subthalamus, Epithalamus and Pretectum) and the Telecephalon.

The midbrain is comes out of the midbrain consisting of Tectum, Tegmentum, the Cerebral Aqueduct and the Cerebral Peduncle.

The Rhombencephalon is consisted with 3 parts, The medulla, Pons and Cerebellum. Fourth ventricle is located within the pons.
