i have created 3 buttons Save Deleteand Search and a text bo
i have created 3 buttons Save, Delete,and Search. and a text box for typing what i am going to search.
and i also have a chart next to it which i want to show my summary report.
my problem is how to connect each button to access my database document and how to connect my summary report to the chart i have created.
please be very detailed.
note: even if you dont see the chart.
pretend it\'s already there.
Solution
For Search:
Report Manager, navigate to the Contents page of search button do one of the following:
Navigate to the shared data source item.
Click the item to open it. The General Properties page opens.
Click search,and then click OK.
In the Contents page, navigate to the folder that contains the data source you want to search
Hover over the item, click the drop-down list, and from the context menu, click Search.
Click OK.
For Delete
Report Manager, navigate to the Contents page Delete button and do one of the following:
Navigate to the shared data source item.
Click the item to open it. The General Properties page opens.
Click Delete,and then click OK.
In the Contents page, navigate to the folder that contains the data source you want to Delete.
Hover over the item, click the drop-down list, and from the context menu, click Delete.
Click OK.
For save:
Report Manager, navigate to the Contents page of save button do one of the following:
Navigate to the shared data source item.
Click the item to open it. The General Properties page opens.
Click save and then click OK.
In the Contents page, navigate to the folder that contains the data source you want to save.
Hover over the item, click the drop-down list, and from the context menu, click save
