Solution

The homeostatic mechanisms balance with certain balance mechanisms. The homeoatatic balance is disrupted when the cells in our body doesn\'t work properly. Homeostatic obesity imbalance theory is hypothesized to a \'Circle of Discontent\' which is a system of feedback loops linking weight gain, body dissatisfaction, negative affect and over consumption.

The negative public perceptions of large body size raises the levels of dissatisfaction; high levels of negative affect in the form of anxiety, depression and stress consequential upon increasing body size; and the emotional consumption of fatty and/or sugary foods and beverages including alcohol.

A body in good health implies good physiological and biochemical homeostasis. In overweight and obesity, feedback loops in different homeostatic systems that operate to maintain equilibrium become imbalanced. In one of these systems, the levels of body dissatisfaction, negative affect and high-energy, low-nutrient consumption run out of control.
