The wave length of a radio wave varies inversely as its Frequency. A wave with a Frequency of 1200 kilometers has a length of 300 meters. What is the length of a wave with a frequency of 800 kilometers?
Solution
\"Wavelength varies inversely with frequency\"
W = k/F
K = Constant term \'k\'
300 m = k/(1200 kHz)
k = 360,000 m*kHz
Now putting the value of frequency we got wavelenght
W = k/F
W = 360000/800
w = 450 meter
