Do all entrepreneurs and/or business people need to be salespeople? If so, what if they do not sell directly to the customers? What do you think?

Solution

It is definitely necessary for all executives and entrepreneurs to be good salesperson. I agree they are not bound to sell to the direct customer but there are many instances when a person need those qualities. For example
1. Selling the firm\'s products for investments.
2. Convincing top management and the employess that the vision of the company is in unison with the vision of the employees and that they should work harder for growth of this body.
Steve Jobs was an excellent salesperson, he never sold his product directly at a shop, but he was responsible for all the hype iPhone once had which still benefits the firm.
