Which of the following types of graphs would not be good for qualitative data

Solution

Qualitative data involves categories which are not numerical, such as eye colour, type of coffee bean, species of birds seen in a garden. The only numbers which can be related to these categories are frequencies, so only charts with one numerical axis can be used : ie
* bar graph,
* Pareto chart and
* pie chart.
