D) Increased production of Erythropoietin

Solution

Vasoconstriction and increased heart rate and erythropoietin increases blood pressure.

Vasodilation: It is the widening of blood vessels in order to allow more blood to flow through according to the body requirements induced may be internal or external stimuli like increase in temperature or excessive exercise. In order to maintain body homeostasis vasodilation occurs, it decreases blood pressure by vessels dilation.

Vasoconstriction is exact opposite to vasodilation. It is narrowing of the blood vessels. In response to external cold temperature, blood vessels turn narrow to maintain body homeostasis. It increases the blood pressure.

Increases heart rate increases blood flow in blood vessels and therefore increases blood pressure. Vigorous body exercise requires more oxygen and therefore it increases blood flow and ultimately increases blood pressure.

Erythropoietin is a hormone secreted by kidney to increase red blood cell production in bone marrow. Low oxygen in blood is sensed by kidney which induces erythropoietin production. Erythropoietin is used in low blood pressure. It increases blood pressure
