say there\'s two women- one who had both ovaries removed and one who has both ovaries intact.
who has the most FSH? or do they have equal amounts of FSH?
Solution
The woman who has both the ovaries intact will have FSH level less that 10 whereas the woman who has got both ovaries removed will have FSH level greater than 30. Because when ovaries are removed there is no increase in Estrogen level, hence FSH is produced more in amount, to increase the level of estrogen.
