..The system life cycle model (SLC) that this textbok has used as a common framework for discussion of the 34 competencies is the Iterative Waterfall model. This SLC has been chosen in the textbook because it is the most suitable one and basic model to accomodate the iterative nature of the software development. It is a faithful model which provides a cradle-to-grave snapshot of project steps, be they large or small.
