Calorie consumption for sleeping = 35 Cal/hr

Calorie consumption for sitting upright = 50 Cal/hr

If sleep reduces by 1 hr and this time is spent in sitting upright, then total calorie consumed per year due to this change in habbit=50*365 Cal = 18250 Cal

Now, 18250 Cal = 2027.78 g

Therefore 2027.78 g fat is lost in one year.
