You’re a manager who comes up with a new system that will make your company more efficient. However, implementing this system would make several tasks obsolete and cost many of your co-workers their jobs.

Solution

As a Manager for my company ,I would go with the new system because it will lead to the betterment of my company and the sole aim of every organization is growth .If taking up this new system improves Growth then I will take that decision.

However it will my ethical obligation to inform the workers that many of them can loose their jobs to enforcement of this new system.

Since it is for company upliftment ,I would give them three months salary in advance and given them the opportunity to get themselves trained and they can again apply back to the company.

This would atleast give them a chance to search for new job or enhance their search for new job or enhance their skills for new job or enhance their skills and join again .Also , the company would increase its profit from the new system.
