Halotolerant micorbes are the one which can tolerate the moderate levels of salt concentrations. These are the microbes that do not require the higher salt concentrations for their survival but can withstand the same. For ex: Staphylococcus aureus, the bacteria which is found on the human skin is halotolerant.
