Social media are the platforms or websites to promote a product or service they have built-in data analytics tools, which enable companies to track the progress, success, and engagement of ad campaigns. Companies address a range of stakeholders through social media marketing, including current and potential customers & general public.
Definition of social media: Social media is a computer-based technology that facilitates the sharing of ideas and information and the building of virtual networks and communities. By design, social media is internet based and offers users easy electronic communication of personal information and other content, such as videos and photos. Users engage with social media via computer, tablet or smartphone via web-based software or web application.
Social Media Includes: It includes various platforms used by Peoples across globe like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Whatsapp, Snapchat, Linkedin, Yelp, Blogs, Various social bookmarking sitese etc.
