Why cant medical education in other countries be as good as

Why can\'t medical education in other countries be as good as or even better than in the US?? Doctors may even have been educated in American medical schools.

Solution

The reason lies in state provided infrastructure in medical facilities, education and in hospitals. In most countries, government spending on medical education and research is a small percentage of their GDP, which adversely affects the quality of education. Since state-run hospitals are in poor conditions with minimal pay, US educated doctors return to their home countries to join private hospitals for better pay and working conditions. Lack of qualified faculty also worsens the quality of medical education in such cases.
