Connective tissue is something that has many factors and functions supporting human body. It helps in maintaining the structural integrity of body, connect and protect organs and helps as energy reserve. It is majorly found in primary tissues and mainly comprises of cell, fibres and ground substances. When we talk about general connective tissue characteristics, they are high vacularised, connect tissues and organs and helps in damage recovery.

Here are the following types of connective tissue along with their characteristics:-

It is soft and flexible tissue which helps in free and flexible movement and is present in few parts of body like rib cage, ear, nose, ankle, elbow, knee etc. The chondroblast that comprise the cartilage has no blood vessel.
