Solve the right triangle for the unknown sides and angles Ro

Solve the right triangle for the unknown sides and angles. Round values to 1 decimal place if necessary.

Solution

14. A = 28 deg c=15

a = c*sin28 = 15*sin28 = 4.1

b = sqrt(c^2 - a^2) =sqrt(15^2 - 4.06^2) = 14.4

Angle C =90

Angle B = 180 -90 - 28 = 62 deg

16. a= 2, b = 8.6

c = sqrt(a^2 +b^2) = sqrt(2^2 +8.6^2) = 8.83

AngleC =90

Angle B : cosB = a/c

cosB = 2/8.83

B = 76.9 deg

Angle A = 180 -76.91 - 90 = 13.1 deg

 Solve the right triangle for the unknown sides and angles. Round values to 1 decimal place if necessary. Solution14. A = 28 deg c=15 a = c*sin28 = 15*sin28 = 4
