Given a six-channel main multiplexer with f_s = 8 kHz design a telemetry system similar to the example in Lecture (including a marker) that accommodates seven input signals with the following bandwidths: 12.0, 4.0, 1.0, 0.9, 0.8, 0.5 and 0.3 kHz. Other two, four, six and eight-channel multiplexers are available for use as sub-multiplexers.

Solution

Fs = 8 kHZ

F1 = Fs+ fm

= 8 +12 =20 kHZ

F2 = fs - fm

= 8 - .3 = 7.7 kHz

f3 = f2 - fm

8 - .8

7.2 kHz

f= f1+ f2+f3+f4......+f8/8

= 2 khz
