Current Limiting Resistors

Between different brands there might be slight differences in forward voltage values. How do the calculations change if you use a green LED instead of a blue one?

Solution

Green LED has slightly less CUT IN voltage than Blue LED. so when you will change green led instead of blue the

voltage diiference between the terminals of current limiting resistor will increase than previous which will try to drive more current .but the current rating of green LED has fixed value and you have to maintain tha current. So, you will have to increase the value of current limiting rasistor so that to maintain the rated current of green LED.
