Solution

1) S = Arc length

= Angle at center = 33 degree = 0.576 radian

   r = Radius of circle = 3.1 m

Then S = r = 3.1*0.576 = 1.7856 m

2) Sin(x) = -0.7

Cos(x) = 0.3

Tan(x) = 8.9

Then Sin(-x) = 0.7

Cos(-x) = 0.3

Tan(-x) = -8.9

Sec(-x)*csc(-x)*cot(-x)*sin(-x) = (1/cos(-x))*(1/sin(-x))*(cos(-x)/sin(-x))*sin(-x) = 1/sin(-x) = 1/0.7 = 1.43
