Today\'s workforce is diverse and has multiple conflicting priorities. As a nurse leader, you would like to see your hospital implement an outreach program that will benefit needy members of the community. What are some methodologies of communication you would use to develop a shared vision with your stakeholders? How would you apply strategic management to make your visions for the outreach program become reality?
Solution
Communications determine the performance level as they provide informations. Some of the menthods which can be used by nurse leader for communications are newsletters, emails, posters, meetings. These methods can communicate the vision to the stakeholders. However, the written methods of communications would be preferred by me as these are the most effective ones in sharing the vision about benefits of community members. Written methods allow me to present the full report which in turn would represent the benefits of the outreach program to stakholders clearly. For the purpose to make the outreach program the reality, the stakeholder approach would be preferred by me. It includes formulation and implementation of processes with aim to keep the benefits of stakeholders in consideration. it includes management and integration of interests of all those groups that ensure the long term success of the institution. Some of these groups are namely, employees, stakholders, communities etc.
