In paralleloagram ABCD shown find the value of x if m angle

In paralleloagram ABCD shown, find the value of x if m angle A - 2x - 35 and m angle C = 59 degree. 59 35 94 17

Solution

Solution:

It is a property of parallelogram that sum of adjacent angle equlal = 180

therefore

angle A + angle B =180

thus

angle A = angle C ( since ABCD is paralleogram opposite angles are equal )

Angle C = 59 ( Given )

thus value of

A + B = 180

2x -35 + B = 180 ..... 1

B = 180 - C = 180 and C = 59 ( given )

Plug value of B in first and solve it for x

2x-35 +180-59 = 180

2x = 94

x = 47

answer

 In paralleloagram ABCD shown, find the value of x if m angle A - 2x - 35 and m angle C = 59 degree. 59 35 94 17SolutionSolution: It is a property of parallelog
