I have new way of solving (I need prove) instead of doing partial fraction in pole-zero cancellation in control systems to see if we can cancel it or not?
someone tought me new tachnique which is taking the magnitude of both pole and zero, and if they have very close value you can cancel it (cancel the zero and the pole). my professor asking me for referance for my new method.
I need refrance if anyone know what I am talking about????

That Pole_Zero cancellation process is acceptable and the reference for those if we want to cancel any pole or zero effect it must be suggested to add the pole or zero which is of to be placed at equal distance from origin but must be opposite to the plane of the existed(which we want to reduce the pole/zero effect)
But in practical Pole/zero cancellation will not lead a perfect response it gives approximated response because we dont know that the added pole may exactly cancells the effect of existed pole/zero
