Burgers vector:

Burgers vector name after the scientist basically gives the measure of lattice distortion.

We can define burgers vector as a vector showing the magnitude and direction of slip caused due to dislocation.

Slip plane:

We know that atoms are closely packed in any metal and arranged in planes. When the slip occurs one plane of atoms move slides over another plane of atoms. So the plane on which this slip occurs are called as slip planes.

Dislocation line :

Dislocation line is a term used in edge dislocations and can be defined as the line that will extend along the additional half plane of atoms for an edge dislocation.
