Reinventing Government
Former Vice President Al Gore launched a \"reinventing government\" initiative during the Clinton Administration that sought to streamline government procedures and processes, and also sought to reduce duplication in government personnel. This is hardly a new concept, as almost every presidential administration has sought to discover more efficient ways of delivering government services. What ways, if any, would you suggest to streamline the way government does business? Would you outsource key government services? Should government hire less? Should pay be tied to performance in the public sector? Or, on the contrary, do you think there needs to be a wholesale reinvention of the way government does business? Feel free to be creative and to imagine ways you think government could be reinvented in the modern age.

Solution
I think Government should hire the right people, competent people who are there because of their knowledge and expertise and not because a political debt.
I wouldn’t outsource key government services because it is a risk that private information may lead to organizations that want to harm the government. You need to keep the information secure.
The number of job positions should be tie to the public sector, if people is performing correct then they should be awarded a better salary, if they are not performing right then they need to let go.
The government should review the performance of his employees every certain time, 6 month for example. If the goals are not meet and there is bad feedback from his manager then the employee should receive a warning, if he receives a second warning on a row he should be fired.
