The frog (amphibiam) has got respiratory surfaces covering its body, it is used to exchange gas with the surroundings unlike humans who do breathing,   When the frog comes out of the water, mucus glands secrete some substances in the skin keep which help to keep the frog moist, which ultimately helps in absoring dissolved oxygen from the air.
