Solution
a) In quantum mechanics, tunneling means penetration of the particle into a classically forbidden region. That is even with a less amount of energy the particle can penetrate though the large value of potential barrier.
b) The example of tunneling is harmonic oscillator. This is because while oscillating, there is a chance of entering into the classically not allowed regions.
c) According to max born the product of wave function and its complex congugate gives the probability of finding the particle in the given space
