b. For each variable, identify if it is quantitative or categorical data.
c. For each variable, identify its scale of measurement.

2. On one day in September Dave’s Ice Cream Parlor collected data on a sample of 40 customers that came to the store that day. For each customer, it collected data on the customer’s favorite ice cream flavor, the customer’s rating of the cleanliness of the store (on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being extremely clean, and 1 being extremely dirty), the customer’s
gender, and the distance from the customer’s house to the store (in miles).

Since data is collected for 15 days so number of elements is : 15

Number of variables : 4

Variables: Total Sales, High temperature, If it rained during the day or not, Total number of customers

For each day (element) 4 observations are collected, one correponding to each variable described above.
