Solution

Force G (6 N) acts along right and F (4N) acts at an angle of 60 deg.

So, |F +G| sqrt( F^2 + G^2 - 2FGcos60)

= sqrt(6^2 +4^2 -2*6*4cos60)

= sqrt28

= 2sqrt7 N
