(b) Since, here it is given that humans can recognize simple objects visually shown for as short as 13 msec. The velocity of signal (calculated above) = 2.5 m/sec.
Therefore the distance travelled by signal in 13 m sec (13 * 10-3 sec) = 13* 10-3 * 2.5 = 32.5 * 10-3 meter.
Since one neural communication requires for 10cm (10-1 meter), therefore total no. of neural communication requires for 32.5 * 10-3 meter. = 32.5 * 10-3 / 10-1 = 32..5 * 10-2.
