Cynthia Cooper at WorldCom and Sherron Watkins at Enron were named Persons of the Year by Time magazine for their courage. These women were heavily criticized by their peers and bosses for not being team players. But they held their ground. They did not back down. Identify an ethical conflict that you have observed. The ethical conflict that I have observed is Honesty.
Despite of the fact that the two women brought out the unethical behaviour in their companies to light, they weren\'t rewarded by their employer. They should be rewarded by the employer and recognition should be given to them for such brave step.
The two women came forward to blow the whistle but no one including their boss appreciated them. The boss should have helped them and those whose behaviour was unethical should be punished.

Just in time purchase is that type of purchase method used by the company that purchases inventories at the time when they are required. They don\'t follow reordering level concept of Material Costing.
The saving generated from JIT method can be huge though it is at times risky as the firm may at time run out of stock. The types of savings can be as follows
1. No storage and carring cost
2. No Normal Loss of goods
3. No risk for Abnormal Loss
4. Less Insurance Cost
5. Less Labour cost for maintenance of Stock.
6. Oppourtunity Cost, the firm can invest the money somewhere else rather that keeping it idle in the stocks as done under Traditional Production Method.
