it is a sex chromosome them as there are 23 pairs in humans 22 aqutosome pairs and 1 sex chromosome pair...... so if it not autosome it is a sex chromosome like x and y chromosome ..... hope it helps .... xx in case of female in humans ... and xy in case of male .....
