What is the difference between the analytical and experiment

What is the difference between the analytical and experimental approach to heat transfer? Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each approach.

Solution

Solution :

Analytical approach is basically fast and also less expensive. This approach uses the analysis and calculations to reach the final stage of a problem.

But the main diadvantage is that the level of accuracy will be less since all the real world conditions cannot be applied in this approach.

Advantage is that its fast and easy.

Experimental approach considers the real world scenario while executing and hence the solution obtained or the data obtained from the experimental approach is far more better than what we obtain from analytical approach.

However this process is very expensive and time consuming .
