Solution

I. Given dz=0.2m and sigma x=(2qs/3.14)(beta-sin beta cos 2 alpha).

So the distribution will be (2qs/0.628)(beta-sin beta cos 2 alpha.

Ii. Maximum stress will be in the midway of the wall that is at point 2.

Iii. Force=ma. Hence total force will be B(sin(alpha-beta)).

Iv. Point of the force will be at point 2.
