Find the equation of the line L, where L is perpendicular to y = 3/4 x and passes through the point(4, 3).

For the given line, y=3/4x slope i.e. m=3/4

for line perpendicular to this line slope will be m=-4/3

Now, y-3 = (-4/3) (x-4)

y-3 = -4/3 x + 16/3

=> y = -4/3 x + (16/3+3) =-4/3 x + 25/3

y = -4/3 x + 25/3
