Toxic hepatitis is an inflammation of liver caused by consumption of alcohol, drugs, chemicals etc..., symptoms include yellowing of skin, dark colour urine, abdominal pain, fatique, vomiting etc..., Toxic hepatitis can be diagnosed by blood test to check for high levels of certain liver enzymes, Imaging tests like ultra sound, CT scan, MRI scan etc, to create picture of the liver, liver biopsy to extract small tissue to examine under microscope.
