This is a technology related class. We need to take opportunities to keep up-to-date with technological changes around us, specifically in the Networking field. To this end, I will create a thread called \"In The News\" every week. I propose that each of us (including me) introduce some news-item that we may have read in the previous or current week. Research can be done on the Web, and you can just post a link to your selected news item. All you need to do is write a few lines explaining why you think this is important and relevant to the class. In order to allow for feedback and participation from class members, it is suggested that you post it by Wednesday of that week. This submission and your response to it will also count toward participation.

Solution

Among all the buzzword recently about technology advancement in Networking Domain, there are these two most important technology innovation which happened in recent year:-

1. Internet Of Things

2. Software Defined Networking(SDN)

1. Internet Of Things:- It is the way of Connnecting all the independent unit (whether it is pc,mouse,rasberrypie, ardino,mobile,fan, etc ) together and making them communicate accordingly as per need.

2. SDN: As the name Suggest, It is the way to reduce company cost(mainly hardware cost), providing them with alternative using Software. Basically, It involves programming of network related individual unit(network interfaces, routers, networking protocol,etc) and making them work as per there hardware equivalent.
