Solution

current I=(1500*1.414<60)/(40-j30)=42.426<96.86 amps.

power factor= cos(96.86-60)=0.8

active power=42.426*1500*1.414*0.8=71999.3 watts.

reactive power=42.426*1500*1.414*sin(96.86-60)=53987.04 VARS.

apparent power=42.426*1500*1.414=89,999.1369 VA.
