A silicon diode has a reverse current of 5 A at 25C and 100

A silicon diode has a reverse current of 5 A at 25°C and 100 A at 100°C.
What are the values of the saturation current and the surface leakage current at 25°C?

Solution

5 A = Is( e^- (qVo/nkT-1) + I leakage when Vo is -
5 A =Is + I surface leakage at 25°C
100 A = Is + I surface leakage at 100°C
95 A = Is assuming surface leakage constant
for 75°C , Is should change by a factor128 times in a 70°C and by a factor of 180 in 75° C
At 25°C 5A = Is + I surface leakage
At 75°C 100A = 180(Is) + I surfaces leakage where Is is Is at 25°C

Is = 95/179 = 0.531 A at 25°C and a surface leakage current of 4.469 A

A silicon diode has a reverse current of 5 A at 25°C and 100 A at 100°C. What are the values of the saturation current and the surface leakage current at 25°C?S
